SOLFERINI has professionals with diverse backgrounds and experiences, as well as national and international partnerships to carry out more complex projects. The core technical team is highlighted below.

João Andrade
João holds a degree in Aeronautical Infrastructure Engineering from the Instituto Tecnológico de Aeronáutica (1976), and a master's and doctorate in Aerospace Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology (1980 and 1983, respectively). He has been a Full Professor in the Department of Energy, Guaratinguetá School of Engineering, São Paulo State University Júlio de Mesquita Filho, since 1999. He was a Researcher at the Associated Laboratory of Combustion and Propulsion, National Institute for Space Research, from 1983 to 1998. He has experience in Transport Phenomena and Thermal Engineering, working mainly on the theme Combustion: Energy and Environment. Included in the list of the most influential scientists in the world, in their respective fields, since 2020 (Worlds Top Two Percent Scientists by Stanford University).

Daniel Solferini
Mechanical Engineer from the Faculty of Engineering of Guaratinguetá (UNESP). He worked as a development engineer at Companhia Siderúrgica Nacional (CSN), where he had contact with many of the processes and specialists in the areas. He developed training, projects, studies and technical assistance in combustion for the most diverse areas of the plant.
He is currently participating in the development of an urban solid waste gasifier for energy generation and also leads the project to develop high-performance burners for domestic and industrial stoves.

Felipe Solferini
Mechanical Engineer graduated from the Federal University of Itajubá (2018). PhD in Mechanical and Aeronautical Engineering from the Technological Institute of Aeronautics (2023). He did an exchange program through the Science Without Borders Program at Queens University in Kingston (Canada) for a period of 16 months. He did a technical internship at the National Institute for Space Research in the Combustion and Propulsion Laboratory (12 months) and a technical internship at the Combustion Laboratory of Queens University (12 months). Participates in the development of research in the area of combustion, gasification, biofuels, energy conversion and pollutant mitigation. He has experience in modeling, testing and optimization of industrial combustion processes.

Anton Skyrda
Master in Space Engineering and Technology from the National Institute for Space Research (INPE) in the area of Combustion. PhD in Mechanical Engineering from the Instituto Superior Técnico, having studied one of the most advanced technologies in the combustion process: Flameless Combustion. He has worked on combustion system optimization projects that aim to obtain greater efficiency with low pollutant emissions and fuel economy, as well as in the development of optical systems projects for combustion diagnosis such as Schlieren, Cassegrain Optics and Spectroscopy, Transmission and Emission Computed Tomography studies, flame diagnostics using laser, flow velocity measurements through LDA, PIV and Pitot, flame diagnostics with intrusive methods such as suction and temperature probes. He has carried out theoretical and experimental research on the feasibility of applying new technologies in combustion and energy generation in industry and their respective impacts on the environment, as well as in the evaluation of greenhouse gases produced during the burning of both biomass and biofuels and the burning of fossil fuels.
